"Born in Dublin, Ireland, Padraig has recently arrived over from Paddy's Green Shamrock Shore with a job and a hatful of music! A fluent Irish speaker and powerful singer, Padraig now plies his musical trade predominantly on the fiddle and the banjo while occasionally returning to his first stronghold, powering out a lively ballad or 10 while playing the guitar and bodhran!
When not playing music, Padraig is likely to be working, sleeping, driving, drinking or eating in that order! Padraig's traditional Irish music influences include the Dubliners, Planxty, the Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem ensemble and Lunasa. He has spent much of the last 2 years dedicating all of his free time to traditional Irish music in Ireland and entertaining the masses! |
